Blyton Icecream
Blyton Ice Cream is a well known established business in the heart of rural Lincolnshire (Blyton).
It has been in the family for generations and continues to prosper with it Ice Cream manufacture and popular Café.
The challenge
The business, because of its production of Ice Cream and food preparation facilities was suffering high energy costs.
With expansion to the site planned, the problem was only increasing due to predicted higher usage rising energy costs.
Why the client chose Enerco
George Cook, Grandson of the founders of the business approached Enerco through a referral to take a look at coming up with a solution to the ever-growing costs.
The solution
The solution in part is not entirely solved at present.
To combat the immediate pinch felt by the high energy costs, Enerco installed 22.68 PV on existing roof space at the property.
The results
The Energy costs have reduced significantly with the system producing an estimated £7000.00 savings per annum.
Our customer said
George was more than pleased with his installation.
As part of the on going work at the property we are in discussions to expand the Solar PV project to a ground mount system to reduce energy costs further.
Conclusion
Enerco greatly improved the Energy costs at Blyton Ice Cream. But our dedication does not stop there. We will Endeavour to assist the business through their Solar journey. Making them more sustainable and profitable.
